Command & Conquer coded in HTML5

Remember the classic RTS known as Command & Conquer? Panasonic shrinks WiGig for cellphones, sets our hearts a flutter

Panasonic shrinks WiGig for cellphones, sets our hearts a flutter Tri-band WiGig in a laptop? Yawnsville. Now, put that 60GHz connection in a high-end smartphone and we're all ears (and sweaty palms). Panasonic is the first out the gate with a 802.11ad compatible chip for mobile devices and, despite its head-spinning multi-gigabit speeds, the company's creation draws less that 1W of power. It'll be sometime before WiGig makes its way into your Droid or iPhone, but when it does you can look forward to wirelessly ...

Now I Feel Old: Schools to Get Multitouch Interactive Whiteboards [Whiteboards]

Now I Feel Old: Schools to Get Multitouch Interactive Whiteboards [Whiteboards] Time for a next-gen spin on the age-old debate of whether a blackboard or whiteboard is better in the classroom? I pose that question because Panasonic's interactive multitouch whiteboard comes days after we saw Sharp's LCD blackboard. Who feels old? Measuring 77-inches, Panasonic's UB-T880 whiteboard can be used by three people at once (making it "multitouch"), though it's worth pointing out that one will be holding the electronic pen, with the other ...
Cheap 3D camcorder lets everyone make their own Avatar sequel
June 7, 2010 – 3:21 am | No Comment
Cheap 3D camcorder lets everyone make their own Avatar sequel 3D may be the hottest topic in home video, but unless you have $21k to splurge on Panasonic's fancy new camcorder, your 3D home video making options are going to be pretty limited. Now, however, Taiwan's Aiptek has announced their own 3D camcorder that's less than one percent of the Panasonic's price, and even half the price of the budget offering from DXG. I've heard of price erosion, but that's ridiculous. Of course the Aiptek ...
