Recently released for iPhone / iPod touch, French indie dev Press Start Studio's side-scrolling homage to classic hack-n-slashers (and really big guns), Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard, is making the unlikely leap onto Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Indie Games.

PS3 Slim was supposed to have network storage (that is, no local hard drive)
Did you know that, at one point, Sony considered constructing the PS3 Slim around the concept of network storage? That is, instead of there being local storage (hard drive, memory cards, etc.) you’d store all of your data on Sony’s servers then retrieve said data over the Internet. Now that would have been radically different.
Of course, Sony decided against the idea, primarily because it would have cost too much money to set up and maintain ...

You've got to feel for The Saboteur. Datel suing Microsoft over Max Memory card lockout
Datel announced that it has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft, in response to Microsoft's lockout (via Xbox 360 firmware update) of the company's Max Memory Cards. We doubt this is the "remedy" for the lockout issue to which the company previously referred, but it's certainly one way to address it.

Microsoft defends decision to ban modded Xbox 360s (but says it didn’t ban 1 million of them)
You’ll recall that Microsoft recently banned a bunch of people from Xbox Live because they had modded their 360s. Modding is against the rules, don’t you know? Microsoft told VentureBeat not to believe the numbers being thrown around—the number most relayed is 1 million banned 360s—because it never releases numbers to anyone.
Again, the larger debate is: should you be allowed to mod your console? I think so, but that’s probably because my opinion on every ...
