I Am Alive trailer brings a gun to a machete fight The latest trailer from Ubisoft's upcoming survival title, I Am Alive, focuses on the interesting combat system. With the game's emphasis on realism, fights are often tense and brutal, with the threat of a gun often the only thing between a peaceful situation and a gruesome machete attack. As you can see, I Am Alive's fights are more often about using your sparse resources wisely under pressure than simply lining up the right shot, or having a bigger ...

Taito’s RayForce hits iOS for … more than you’d expect The term "Square Enix Tax" refers to the publisher's frequent tendency to price its games more than others on the same platform. Most of Square Enix's DS games retailed for $39.99, for example, and even the simplistic Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy carries a price of

Namco Bandai takes note of Dark Souls PC petition We never thought we'd say this, but here goes: someone noticed an online petition. Namco Bandai community manager Tony Shoupinou dropped into the forums to say that his bosses approached him after the news broke. "If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, ...
Hands On: The Nintendo Wii U

Hands On: The Nintendo Wii U One of the first things I was told when I ducked into one of Nintendo’s suites to play with the Wii U was what they wouldn’t tell me. Price, release date, technical specs, games in development — all of these were taboo topics that would be (and were) met with a gentle dismissal if I broached the subject. Great. With that load lifted, I picked up the Wii U controller and dove in. Holding the Wii U controller is your hand is… unusual. It’s been historically rare ...
