For starters, Shankar’s attempt was a self-mandated undertaking in order to improve his coding skills, where he gave himself a one month window to rebuild the game in the browser, and had to comb through the original game’s files in order to obtain all the right sprites, sounds and specs. Firmware Fixes On The Way For Fujifilm X100 I’d like to say I’ve had my problems with the X100 , but since inventory is so tight, they haven’t had a chance to get us one to review yet. But from everything I’ve heard, it’s a great camera with some really half-baked firmware. “iBooks” Publisher Sues Apple A publisher, John T. Colby, bought a series of old titles and sold under the name iBooks in since 1999. Around the same time, Apple sold laptops under the iBook name and, more important, began its iBook store in 2010. Colby is stating that Apple has essentially destroyed his business and that: “Apple’s use of the mark ‘iBooks’ to denote the electronic library that can be accessed via its iPad tablet computer and its iPhone is likely to overwhelm the good will of plaintiffs’ ‘ibooks’ and ‘ipicturebooks’ ...
