6 things apple didn’t announce today, but should soon

Apple came out swinging with plenty of big announcements: a relaunch of Apple TV, some nice new iPods, and even a social networking service. Still, there are plenty of things Apple didn't — perhaps even failed — to make official. Here are six of those.
Live from Apple’s September 2010 Event

It seems like just yesterday, we were fighting our way through traffic on the way to Apple’s iPhone 4 antenna press conference. Today, we’re joining Apple for something a bit less out-of-the-blue: their annual September product announcement in San Francisco. So, what’s coming? New iPod Touches? A brand new, iOS-powered AppleTV (which may or may not be known as the iTV )? Join us after the jump to find out what’s happening the very second it happens. Read the rest at MobileCrunch > >

App Review: Eat brains or get shotgunned in Zombie Dice

Zombie Dice is one of a new breed of board games that was released almost simultaneously in real life and in digital form as an app for the iPhone/iPod touch. It wasn't supposed to be that way, but the popularity of the free Flash demo that Steve Jackson Games developed for its website made someone realize an iPhone app might not be a bad idea. Fast forward a little while and we can now download – for ...
Brabus’s iBusiness is a Mercedes-Benz S600 tricked out Apple style

We've seen the iPad implemented both at school and at work, but in your car? That's the idea behind the iBusiness, a Mercedes-Benz S600 that's been tricked out with Apple gear aplenty by Brabus. Get this -- you can see the two iPads and keyboards in the back seats, but there's also a Mac mini in the back and a 64gb iPod touch as well. The display above is a 15.2" TFT ...
TUAW Tips: 25 ways to check the hardware on your iPhone 4

I received my second replacement iPhone 4 yesterday. Considering the issues my first two iPhone 4 units had, I wanted to make absolutely certain, in as little time as possible, that this replacement unit didn't have anything wrong with it. Before I even picked it up from the store, I started putting together a list of items I needed to test as well as how I would go about doing it.
What I ...
Logitech’s New iPod Speakers Are Battery-Powered, Peanut-Shaped

There isn’t too much to explain here. This is Logitech’s new iPod/iPhone dock and speakers — the main thing you need to know is that it has a rechargeable internal battery so you can take it to the beach and whatnot. It’ll go all day long — and all night strong. As long as that’s not more than eight hours. Comes with remote. It probably sounds good too, but why bother with speakers when you can just wear your headphones and sing really loud?

We're not quite sure when they'll arrive or for how much -- we haven't heard a peep out of Casio -- but Digital Photography Review is reporting a pair of new pocket shooters from the Japanese company. Both the Casio EX-S200 (pictured) and the EX-Z800 are your standard 14.1 megapixel compacts with 720p video recording and 4x optical zoom, as well as the Exilim Engine 5.0 processing the company introduced this year and the supposedly ...
Aqua Moto Racing 2 iPhone App

As you might have guessed, Aqua Moto Racing 2 is a sequel, and it is for those who want to do a jet ski.
Aqua Moto Racing 2 has “better graphics, more tricks, excellent wave physics, and challenging AI”. You will be on buoys and jumps, and even some slow motion activity.
You can get a Lite version for free, or spend $4.99 for the full version. It reminds me of the 3D Dirt Moto Racing app. ...
