Remember the classic RTS known as Command & Conquer? Well, an enterprising coder, Aditya Ravi Shankar, actually recreated the strategy game using nothing but HTML5, where it runs on 69k of Javascript. Why did he set out on such an adventure? For starters, Shankar’s attempt was a self-mandated undertaking in order to improve his coding skills, where he gave himself a one month window to rebuild the game in the browser, and had to comb through the original game’s files in order to obtain all the right sprites, sounds and specs. American Heart Association approves of the Nintendo Wii

ec533064e880x199.jpg American Heart Association approves of the Nintendo WiiYesterday, when we reported about how Nintendo and the American Heart Association had something planned for Monday, most people suspected the Vitality Sensor.

Turns out, it isn’t a new gadget that was the announcement, but rather an older one. The AHA is apparently putting its personal stamp on the Wii, such as games like Wii Fit Plus and the Wii Sports Resort.

By the way, the American Heart Association said that they will be receiving 1.5 million from Nintendo. Don’t speculate too much here.
