For starters, Shankar’s attempt was a self-mandated undertaking in order to improve his coding skills, where he gave himself a one month window to rebuild the game in the browser, and had to comb through the original game’s files in order to obtain all the right sprites, sounds and specs. If that becomes reality, folks in the UK would probably notice that The Times and The Sun will no longer appear on Google News. Considering that Murdoch has previously threatened to remove News Corp content from Google, this might be an added incentive for him to carry out such a threat.
